Culture Cooperation between the Balkan region and the Barents Euro-Artic region

Kirkenes, January 2004

BalkanKult Director, Mr. Dimitrije Vujadinovic, participated in the Barents spectacle from 22nd and 25th January 2004. On this occasion he met with Mr. Rune Rafaelsen, Director of Secretariat of tje Barents Euro-Arctic Ragion and talked about possibilities for cooperation.  They agree that will try to work out some of the following projects:
1) Nordic artists participating in Balkan-Barents Display.
2) Artist from Barents region participating in the art colonies in Balkan region.
3) Organization of ex-libris competition on specific theme which will be defined.
4) Colleagues from the Balkan region taking part in the projects of the Institute in Tromps.
5) Organization of an exhibition ‘’Migrations’’ in the Balkan region as well as round with the theme ‘’Culture phenomenon of migrations’’.
