Promotion of the Green Paper in Belgrade Cultural Centre

The promotion of the "Green Paper on cultural policies of local and regional authorities in Europe" in Belgrade Cultural Centre took place on Thursday, 10th March 2005.  The audience, consisting of cultural practitioners, representatives of cultural institutions and local authorities were able to attend a debate with the theme of cultural policies. 

Mr. Roger Tropeano, president of the Les Rencontres Association (which issued the document), Mr. Branimir Stojkovic, cultural researcher, Mr. Uros Djuric, painter and Ms. Ksenija Graovac, researcher from BalkanKult (BalkanKult issued the Serbian version of the Green Paper) shared opinions on European cultural policies and strategies for national cultural policies. 

They agreed on the issues of young artists and their relation with the authorities, hoping that this could be improved in near future.
