Nordisk Panorama in Belgrade

BjorkThe NORDISK PANORAMA is a selection of best short and documentary films from Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Iceland and Finland in the previous year. Selection was made in Bergen (Norway) where the competition took place in September 2005.

The programme includes 100 min of short and documentary films film from Denmark, Norway, Finland dominate. Some of these films were nominated for the award of the European Film Academy, official programme of the Cannes film festival such as Danish film Exit and other A category festival. The Swedish film Ester will open the festival.

In the context of long documentaries, emphasize is made on Iceland movies and audience in Serbia will for the first time see the music documentary Screaming Masterpiece, then Africa United and Love is in the air which tells the story of the success of Icelandic theatre troupe in the London Young Week Theatre.  Performing in London is a dream of number of theatre actors. Of course there is also a rerun of Bjork: inner or deep part of animal or plant structure. We would like to draw your attention to the Norwegian documentary Swindler which tells how a mind not taken seriously could ruin the whole country. On the other side the film At Eight O Clock to Hell presents us a school trauma.

Screenings are part of the Nordic-Balkan culture collaboration programme and are supported by Zdravlje Actavis Company, Embassy of Finland, Embassy of Sweden, Royal Danish Embassy and Royal Norwegian Embassy in Belgrade. Co-organizers are Belgrade Cultural Center and Students' Cultural Center.
