Sound Bridges

In Tirana (Albania) the one-day regional seminar about the role of radio-drama in strengthening of democracy in the transition countries was held at the end of February 2003. It was organized by the Albanian Foundation “Rruga me Pisha” (“The Road of Pines”) and the World BBC Service. Beside about twenty experts in this field, among  others were: Tim Williams, Director of Projects of Social Development of BBC World Service Trust, Penny Leicester, Soap Opera Expert , Francis Rolt, Program manager of the European Center for joint projects from Brussels, Natalya Vlasova, Director of Association for Russian Independent Radio Production  from Moscow, the experts from Serbia and Montenegro also took part in this seminar- Dimitrije Vujadinovic, Director of BalkanKult, Association for Regional Cultural Cooperation from Belgrade, Olivera Rajic, deputy editor-in-chief of the Second programme of Radio-Belgrade, and Vladimir Popadic, film director from Krusevac.
